Championship Tour

The South Florida PGA Junior Championship Tour is a series of two-day events at some of South Florida’s premier facilities. Membership is Invitation Only. Juniors are invited based on the previous year’s Junior Tour scoring average and point standings (refer to Eligibility & Yardages Tab), and current year’s performance prior to session checkpoints.

All Championship Tour events are nationally ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard. All Championship Tour events are 36 hole events, with a Boys (13-18) and Girls (13-18) division.

Boys 13-18
Girls 13-18

Boys: 6600 - 7000 + Yards
Girls: 5800-6000 + Yards

Eligibility is based on scoring average and Player of the Year points from previous year. Exempt status will be awarded from previous year standings. Players may also earn status on the Championship Tour by competing in at least three Challenge Tour events and having their scoring average fall in the appropriate perimeters. Players who have played previous to 2020 and did not compete in 2020 will be subject to approval based on committee discretion.

Boys 13-18 – 79.99 or better scoring average and top 25 in POY points
Girls 13-18 – 81.99 or better scoring average and top 10 in POY points

After each year, players will be eligible to change status from Junior Challenge Tour member to Championship exempt status. Committee has the right to move any player up or down levels at anytime.

*Boys and Girls in the 11-12 divisions on the Challenge Tour will be evaluated for exempt status on a case-by-case basis by the committee. Members must be 13 to be considered for the Championship Tour.
