November 20th 2019 - ATLANTIS, Fla. – Championship Tour Event #6 was held at The Estates Course at PGA National in West Palm Beach, FL this past weekend.  Players faced tough conditions with temperatures in the mid-upper 50’s and winds gusting upwards of 25 MPH.
Duncan Fischer of North Ft. Myers found himself in the winners’ circle after carding a final round 3-under par 69.  Fischer started the second round five shots behind current Player of the Year points leader Garrett Giles after opening with a 75 in round 1.  Fischer birdied #17 and #18 to close out his final round and secure his first Championship Tour victory by 1-shot while carding his career-low tournament round.  Giles would take home the boys’ 16-18 age division with scores of 70-75, while James Key of Palm Beach Gardens would take home the boys’ 13-15 age division with scores of 74-73. 
Kerttu Hiltunen of Palm Beach Gardens put on a dominating display this week.  Hiltunen fired rounds of 73-71 to capture the overall girls’ title by eight strokes.  This was Hiltunen’s first Championship Tour event of the year.  Agatha Alesson of Weston took home the girls’ 16-18 age division with scores of 78-74.  Jordan Fischer, sister of the Boys’ overall champion Duncan Fischer, took home the girls’ 13-15 age division with scores of 78-74.
