The South Florida Junior PGA Championship is one of South Florida’s Junior Majors. This 36 hole stroke play event is designed to highlight South Florida’s top male and female junior golfer. In order to participate in the South Florida Junior PGA Championship, all players must first qualify through one of three local qualifiers. Successful qualifiers will pay no additional fee to participate in the South Florida Junior PGA Championship. Players will receive a premium tee gift at the tournament as well as lunch following play after each round.
The overall boy and girl winner along with the runner-ups will advance on to the 2019 National Junior PGA Championship.

The National Junior PGA Championship is one of the premier junior events in the United States. This event is administered by the same team who conduct the PGA Championship and the Ryder Cup.
Boys 13-15 / Girls 13-15: $110.00 (36 holes)
All players will need to qualify to attend the South Florida Junior PGA Championship. There will be four (4) qualifiers held throughout the section, and players will be required to participate in 1 of the 4 qualifiers. It is suggested that the players register for their nearest qualifying location.
Entry into one of the qualifiers is $110 for SFPGA members and is $125 for non-members.

June 2 - The Country Club of Coral Springs
Note: The qualifiers on May 4th at Vineyards and May 11th at Eagle Trace will be administered during the first round of the two-day events. Qualifying scores will be taken from the first round of the event and the number of qualifying scores will be determined by the field size. SFPGA Members may choose to participate in either just the tournament or the tournament AND the qualifier. If a player chooses to play in both the tournament and the qualifier, the entry fee will be $220.
The number of players who qualify per site will be determined by the number of players in each field.
A total of 96 players in the 13-18 Divisions will play in the Championship.
* Exemptions into this year’s section Junior PGA Championship will be granted to the following individuals based on exemption guidelines:
Winners of the 2017 & 2018 SFPGA Junior PGA Championships in the Overall Division, as well as the 2018 Players of the Year for the Overall Divisions in the Challenge and Championship Tour and the winner of the Birdie Club fund raiser from 2018.

**Only boys and girls competing in the 13-18 age divisions will be eligible to qualify for the national event. Players under the age of 13 may “declare up” to be eligible to qualify and are required to play from the same tees as the 13-18 age divisions. If any player under the age of 13 would like to attempt to qualify for the national event or compete in the 36 hole event must sign up for the 13-18 age division.

The South Florida Junior Open is open to players holding status on the Challenge and Championship Tour. This event is designed to bring a major atmosphere to junior golf in South Florida, while also providing a great getaway at the beautiful newly renovated Naples Beach Club in Naples, FL.

The course has been dramatically renovated and just reopened last year! Field Size: 96 Players
Qualification: The tournament field will be open to any members of the South Florida PGA Challenge or Championship Tour, as well as any junior aged 11-18 who falls under the Southwest Florida Junior Golf Association regulations. Registration will open on May 14th. For the first week of registration, only SFPGA Championship Tour members will be eligible to register. On May 21st, the event will open to all juniors aged 11-18 nation wide!

The Doral Junior Classic is one of South Florida’s five Junior Majors. The Doal Junior Classic is a 54 hole event conducted by the South Florida PGA Junior Tour. The Doral Junior Classic is open to players holding status on the Challenge and Championship Tour with an exciting twist for round 3.
Qualification/ Event Details
The field will be composed of 84 players holding status on either the Challenge or Championship Tour. Registration will open for Championship Tour members on June 11th, 2019. Registration will open for Challenge Tour members on July 2nd, 2019.
The Doral Junior Classic will be a 36 hole stroke play event with a unique 3rd round of match play. After round 2, the field will be cut to the low 36 players for a unique match play format on round 3.
Date: August 6th-8th 2019
Location: Trump National Doral (Red Course)
The Field will be cut to the low 36 players for the final round. Players will then be put on a team based on 36-hole scores and compete in alternate-shot and best-ball match play format.
Final round cut will be based off percentage of players in each division, not the lowest scores. All divisions will have an equal opportunity to compete in the match play format.

Top 60 Championship Tour Players
Top 60 Challenge Tour Players
The 2019 Tour Championship will require season long qualifying to participate. Qualifications will be determined based on Player of the Year Points earned throughout the year. The number of spots available for each age division will be decided based on the percent of total members of the Junior Tour in that division as of November 15th. The Tour Championship will be a 60 player field of Championship Tour players, and a 60 player field of Challenge Tour players.
For the SFPGA Junior Tour Championships, the top 60 players off of each Player of the Year roster will be eligible to compete for either Championship. If a player has earned an invitation to both Tour Championships based on his performance during the season, the Championship Tour status will take precedence over his Challenge Tour status. A player who finishes the season competing on the Championship Tour, but earns an invitation to the Challenge Tour based on his performance on that tour throughout the season, will be eligible to compete in the Challenge Tour Championship.
