Banyan Creek Golf Club Hosts Sunday Prep Tour Event
Palm City, FL - Banyan Creek Golf Club hosted the South Florida PGA Prep Tour this weekend, welcoming over 70 juniors for a single-day, 18-hole event.

In his first event of the season, Dalton Stokes of Lake Worth shot a 6-over 78 to become the latest boys 13-18 Prep Tour Champion.
With three birdies on the card, Stokes bested the rest of the field and narrowly defeated runner-up Kalani Centeno of North Miami Beach. Centeno placed second after a round of 79 and a scorecard playoff between Cameron Feiner of Palm Beach Gardens, Chris Maung of Fort Myers and Alek Greer of West Palm Beach.
In the girls 13-18 division, Gaelle Summers of Cape Coral also earned her first win of the season with a dominant performance, shooting an 8-over 80.
Summer’s round vaulted her nine shots clear of runner-up Yariliz Delgado of Miramar after her round of 89 and winning a scorecard playoff against Cindi Cooper of Pembroke Pines.
In the boys 11-12 division, Jaxson Weese of Sebastian claimed his third win in 2022 with a round of 5-over 77. Weese’s round was highlighted by an eagle that came at the par-5 15th hole, eventually propelling him to a one shot win over runner-up Carson Lowe of West Palm Beach.
In the girls 11-12 division, Olivia Hartman of Palm Beach Gardens shot a 10-over 82, with runner-up Ophelia Bunuel of Miami Springs closing with a round of 95.
In the 9-10 division Mateo Muniz of Wellington broke through after starting his Prep Tour season with five straight Top-5 finishes. Muniz carded a 3-over 75, two ahead of second place finisher Agustin Bunuel.
Thank you to Banyan Creek Golf Club and Anders Goldkuhl for hosting.
