Carson Meredith and Oakley Sever Notch Prep Tour Wins at Palm Beach Par 3
PALM BEACH, FL - The South Florida PGA Prep Tour took on the famed Palm Beach Par 3 Course, with Carson Meredith and Oakley Sever taking home wins in the overall boys and girl’s 13-18 divisions.

Meredith of Parkland was steady from start to finish on his way to an even-par 54, carding just one bogey, complimented by one birdie. Ethan Argus of Tequesta and William Keiley of Jupiter followed closely behind with a 56 and 57, respectively.
In the girl’s division, Sever of Homestead carded a five-over 59 to edge Mirabelle DeAngelis of Boca Raton by one shot. Sever birdied her second-to-last hole of the day to close out the tournament.
Pablo Munoz Montes of Key Biscayne and Sarah Earle of Jupiter won the boys and girl’s 11-12 division with a 55 and 63, respectively.
In the youngest division, ages 9-10, Myla Kumar of Pompano Beach fired a 56 to win on the girl’s side and Agustin Bunuel of Miami Springs shot a 3-under 51, the low round of the day amongst all divisions. Bunuel’s card included five birdies against two bogeys.
The Prep Tour is the intermediate tour on the South Florida PGA Junior Tour, featuring young golfers at some of the finest courses in south Florida. Next up, the Prep Tour will visit the West Coast at Hammock Bay Golf and Country Club in Naples on July 16th.
