Prep Tour Concludes Season at Sandhill Crane Golf Club for Prep Tour Championship
November 8th 2021 - West Palm Beach, Fl - The South Florida PGA Prep Tour concluded its season Sunday with the Prep Tour Championship hosted at Sandhill Crane Golf Club.
Aidan Maclness of Bonita Springs took home the first place medal in the boys 13-18 division wrapping play at 8-over 80. Fisher Coleman-Sayer of Marathon finished in second at 9-over 81 after a scorecard playoff with Davis Crall of Palm Beach Gardens.
Winning the girls 13-18 division, Juliana LaPapa of West Palm Beach concluded the 18-hole Championship at 16-over 88. Claiming second place honors in a scorecard playoff, Ava DuMond of Lake Worth finished at 17-over 89.
After 18 holes in the boys 11-12 division, Jake Williams of Miami and Ryder Kenney of North Palm Beach were tied at 7-over 79. Williams would ultimately win in a scorecard playoff with a 39 on the back nine compared to a 40 for Kenney.
Laura Monsalve of Miami finished her round at 6-over 78, the lowest score across any age division, winning the girls 11-12 division. Coming in second, Yool Her of Pembroke Pines finished at 13-over 85 claiming second place in a scorecard playoff.
Chris Nana Tanke of Palm Beach Gardens concluded play at 9-over 81, enough to win the boys 9-10 division. In second place, Jack Zejda of Naples finished at 13-over 85.
The Prep Tour Championship was an invite-only tournament, hosting the best 58 players from the Prep Tour this season. Thank you to all of our players and parents for making this a great season and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
