Rinker, Heuberger, & Abdelnour Win Medalist Tour at Park Ridge Golf Course
Lake Worth, FL - Brandon Rinker, Mia Heuberger, and Reed Abdelnour won their respective age divisions during the South Florida PGA Medalist event, March 22-23 at Park Ridge Golf Course.

Brandon Rinker, a 2027 graduate from West Palm Beach, fired a 2-under par 70 in the final round, winning the boys 13-18 division by two shots. Rinker wrapped the 36-hole-event at 7-under par. Haoting Zhou of Coconut Creek, finished in second at 5-under par, while Carter Brooks of Coral Springs finished in third at 2-under par.
Mia Heuberger of Palm Beach Gardens, captured her first victory in the Medalist Tour Girls 13-18 division after an opening round of 3-under par 69. The 2031 graduate entered the final round tied with Bella Simoes of Lake Worth. Heuberger fired a 2-under par 70, finishing the event 5-under par and claiming the title by one shot over Simoes.
Reed Abdelour of West Palm Beach, sealed his third straight victory for the Boys 11-12 division by two shots after a close battle with Gabriel Shabashkevich of Boca Raton. The first round, cut short due to darkness, resulted in 16-holes being scored. After the conclusion of the first round, Abdelnour was 1-under par and Shabashkevich was 2-over par. Shabashkevich managed an even-par 72 in round two, but a 1-over par 73 by Abdelnour was just enough to capture back-to-back victories finishing at even-par.
The South Florida PGA Srixon Junior Medalist Tour welcomed 64 boys and 20 girls, competing over three age divisions at Park Ridge Golf Course. The SFPGA Medalist Tour is the premier membership-based junior golf program operating under the umbrella of the South Florida PGA Foundation, a 501 c 3 organization focused on impacting the lives of youth, military and families through the game of golf. The Medalist Tour season will continue April 5-6 at Santa Lucia River Club.
