Srixon South Florida PGA Junior Tour Announces 2025 Prep Tour Players of the Year
West Palm Beach, FL - The Srixon South Florida PGA Junior Tour announced its 2025 Prep Tour Players of the Year for its six divisions, recognizing outstanding performances based on season-long point standings.
This year featured 463 Prep Tour Members competing in 26 total events for ages 9-18. Players were awarded points based on their finish in the events played.
Prep Boys 13–18 Division
The Prep Boys 13–18 Division Player of the Year was awarded to
Zachary Balfour of Delray Beach. Balfour played in 22 of the 26 events in 2025, earning three victories and nine other top-ten finishes. He finished the season with 2,374.42 points — 796.42 points ahead of second-place, Jack Hulett of Naples.
The 2025 season marked Balfour’s first victory on the Prep Tour since becoming a member in 2022. He managed to improve his scoring average to 77.85 compared to 83.29 in 2024 with his lowest round of 1-over 73 coming at PGA National’s Fazio course.
“A big thank you to Don Law Golf Academy for everything they’ve done for me and my golf career,” Balfour said.
Balfour’s primary goal for the 2026 season is to compete and win an event on the South Florida PGA Medalist Tour.
Girls Prep 13–18 Division
The Prep Girls 13–18 Division Player of the Year went to
Giuliana Walker
of Hollywood. Walker placed in the top-five in 14 of the 21 events she played this season, finishing with 3,175.43 points — 362.17 points ahead of second-place, Sara Valentine of West Palm Beach, FL.
Walker first became a member on the Prep Tour back in 2023. She improved her scoring average from a 87.12 in 2024 to a 79.55 in 2025 with her lowest round being a 4-over 75 at Shell Point Golf Club.
“It has been an incredible season,” Walker said. “Just knowing all my hard work paid off is such a great feeling.”
In 2026, Walker’s goal is to play more consistently — to go out and shoot the best score she can every single day.
Boys Prep 11–12 Division
Jacob McMillan
of Jupiter, was named the Prep Boys 11–12 Division Player of the Year. McMillan participated in 19 events, earning five victories, six runner-up finishes, and six additional top-five performances. He ended the season with 2,817.50 points — 465 points ahead of Finn Dritenbas of West Palm Beach, FL.
McMillan first joined the South Florida PGA Junior Tour in 2020, playing on the Links Tour. He then joined the Prep Tour in 2023, sealing his first victory in 2024 at Hollybrook Golf and Tennis Club with a score of 75. His scoring average improved from 77.5 in 2024 to 76.33 in 2025.
McMillan also qualified for the Drive, Chip & Putt Finals at Augusta National during the year. He lives by the Arnold Palmer quote, “The more I practice, the luckier I get.”
“[In 2026] my goal is to never give up, and to keep practicing and practicing,” McMillan said.
Girls Prep 11–12 Division
The Prep Girls 11–12 Division Player of the Year was
Victoria Frias of Parkland. Frias competed in 20 Prep Tour events this year, finishing in first place nine times and earning eight other top-three finishes. She finished the season with 3,500.00 points — 1,670 points ahead of Alyssa Cleckley of Royal Palm Beach, FL.
Frias joined the Prep Tour in 2023 after competing on the Links Tour in 2022. She won three events in her first season on the Prep Tour. Frias improved her scoring average from 78.69 in 2024 to 74.05 in 2025.
Her main goal for 2026 is simple — to win more tournaments.
Boys Prep 9–10 Division
The Boys Prep 9–10 Division Player of the Year was awarded to
Julian Brandman
of Delray Beach. Brandman competed in 19 events during the 2025 season, earning five victories and 10 additional top-three finishes. He finished the year with 2,812.50 points — 875 points ahead of Alexander Heuberger of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Brandman joined the South Florida PGA Junior Tour in 2024, making his debut on the Links Tour. He moved his way into the Prep Tour at the start of the 2025 season, and managed his first victory at Sandhill Crane Golf Club in early June. Brandman finished the season with a scoring average of 77.00.
“I just kept on practicing, tried to get better, and kept my cool,” Brandman said about his 2025 season.
Girls Prep 9–10 Division
The Girls Prep 9–10 Division Player of the Year was awarded to
Cheetah Baez of San Antonio, FL. Baez played in 15 events, earning nine victories and finishing the season with 2,850.00 points — 975 points ahead of Julia Elharti of Melbourne, FL.
Baez made her Prep Tour debut this year, and claimed first place in only her second event. She managed a scoring average of 82.43, and a 73.3% win rate.
Baez also won the Drive, Chip & Putt Local, Sub-Regional, and Regional Qualifiers, advancing to the Finals at Augusta National in 2026. She practices and plays regularly at Hunter’s Green Country Club in Tampa, FL.
“My goal is to win the Player of the Year Award again!” said Baez.
