Earle and Nip Celebrate Medalist Tour Victory at Wellington National Golf Club
Wellington, FL - The South Florida PGA Junior Tour hosted Medalist and Prep Tour events at Wellington National Golf Club and Osprey Point Golf Course over the weekend.
James Earle and Angela Nip claimed first place honors in their respective age divisions at Wellington National’s Medalist Tour event.
In the Girl’s 13-18 division, Nip of Port St. Lucie fired a 1-under 71 in round one, carding four bogeys to go along with five birdies as she wrapped the day with an 8-stroke lead over Dariano Breto of Hialeah.
Nip and Breto went shot-for-shot in round two, both notching a 2-over 74. Nip carded a two-day total 71-74–145 to claim her first Medalist Tour victory of the 2023 season.
After carding two consecutive 1-under-par 71 rounds, Earle of Jupiter dominated in the Boy’s 13-18 division, with a 3-shot lead over Joey Iaciofano of Jupiter.
In addition to our Medalist Tour champions, this past weekend’s Medalist event served as the second qualifier for the SFPGA Junior Championship. Congratulations to our Champions and to all those players who will advance to the SFPGA Junior Championship in June.

Additionally, at Sunday’s Prep Tour event, 73 players across five age divisions took on Osprey Points Raven and Falcon Course.
