What is a Grant?
Money for college that does not need to be paid back. Awarded solely on financial need and covers various education expenses, such as tuition and fees, room and board, and books and supplies.

What is a Loan?
A college tuition loan, or student loan, is money you borrow to pay for higher education, including tuition, fees, and living expenses. Unlike grants or scholarships, a loan must be repaid, along with interest, which is the cost of borrowing the money. Student loans are provided by either the federal government or private lenders
What is a Scholarship?
Similar to a grant as it is money to use for college that does not need to be paid back. Scholarships are typically awarded on the basis of merit, such as academic, athletic, or creative achievement.
What is a Work-study?
It provides part-time employment for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay for education expenses.
South Florida PGA Foundation Scholarship
Annually, the Foundation Board of Directors selects one high school senior to receive $20,000 to support their college education. The funds are distributed over the course of their four-year education.
