Silva and Greyserman Card Double-Digit Lows in East Coast High School Championship

ATLANTIS, FL - Spruce Creek(Boys) and Sagemont Prep (Girls) High Schools took home the South Florida PGA Junior Tour’s East Coast High School Championship, hosted by Lost City Golf Club.
Starting the final round tied with Ransom Everglades at 1-under, Gabriel Hull, Jacob Watson, Michael Watson and Scotty Messick of Spruce Creek propelled the team to a group 3-under finish.
Leading the way for the Hawks, Junior Hull carded a total 67-71–138, finishing with an overall 6-under and guiding Spruce Creek to a team victory over Oxbridge Academy.
Individually, Senior Reed Greyserman of Spanish River High shot a first round 9-under, 63, capturing the individual title by nine shots over Hull. Over the two-day stretch, Greyserman carded 15 total birdies, 10 of which came in round one, completing the Championship at 63-66–129.
In the Girl’s Division, Junior Ariana Silva of Sagemont Prep had a lights out round one carding six birdies to go along with zero bogeys. Silva maintained the momentum throughout round two, finishing with a 66-65-131 total and a 15-stroke victory for the individual title.
Silva’s good play also paved the way for Sagemont Prep who won the team championship by 15 strokes over St. Andrews High School.

teams across the south Florida area.. The SFPGA Junior Tour will travel to the west coast next week for the West Coast High School Championship September 29-30 at Cypress Woods Golf and Country Club in Naples.
