Albright, Zalsman, and Lorberbaum earned Medalist titles at Osprey Point Golf Course
BOCA RATON, FL. –
Albright, Zalsman, and Lorberbaum earned division titles at the Srixon South Florida PGA Junior Medalist Tour event, held October 18-19 at Osprey Point Golf Course.

In the Boys 13-18 Division, Gatlin Albright of Stuart earned the title after posting consecutive rounds of 3-under 69 to finish at 6-under for the tournament. Albright’s performance included eight birdies and 33 pars, marking it his third win of the 2025 season after victories at The Links at Boynton Beach in February and PGA National’s Estates Course in April. Brett Shaw of Prince Edward Island, Canada, and Mateo Quenneville of South Hadley, Massachusetts, recorded the tournament’s low rounds with opening scores of 5-under 67, while Daniel Mena of West Palm Beach claimed second place in a three-way scorecard playoff with a back-nine score of 35.
In the Girls 13-18 Division, Mila Zalsman of St. Petersburg led the field after an opening round of 3-under 69, holding a two-stroke advantage over Palm Beach Gardens native Mia Heuberger. Zalsman followed with a steady final round featuring three birdies and 14 pars to finish at five-under for the tournament and secure the title. Lilly Parker of North Palm Beach claimed second place in a scorecard playoff, winning by two strokes based on her back-nine score.
In the Boys 11-12 Division, William Lorberbaum of Delray Beach carded a 1-over opening round, four shots behind leader Gabriel Shabashkevich, who posted a 3-under 69. Lorberbaum followed with a 3-under 69 in the final round, highlighted by four birdies and 13 pars, to tie Shabashkevich at three-under for the tournament. Per the South Florida PGA Junior Handbook, ties are decided by a scorecard playoff, with Lorberbaum claiming the victory based on a 2-under 34 on the back nine. Shabashkevich finished in second place for the division.
The 79 player field combined for 11 eagles and 345 birdies throughout the weekend. The Boys 11-12 Division posted a scoring average of 74.27, the Girls 13-18 Division averaged 75.79, and the Boys 13-18 Division averaged 75.86.

The Srixon South Florida PGA Junior Medalist Tour welcomed 57 boys and 22 girls across three divisions. The Medalist Tour, the premier membership-based junior golf program of the South Florida PGA Section, will continue its season November 1-2 at Mariner Sands Country Club.
