Prep Tour Players Compete in Final Regular Season Event of the Year
West Palm Beach - After 29 events in the regular season, Prep Tour players took on their final event today at PGA National Estates Course.
A select number of players will be invited to compete at the final Prep Tour Championship on November 12th at The Park West Palm.
Ending the regular season with a career low, Dylan Schilling notched an impressive 7-under, 65 to go with his 7th first place finish in the 2023 season. Schilling carded eight total birdies leading him to victory in the Boy’s 11-12 division.
Joining Schilling with eight total birdies on the day, Anisleidy Chavez finished the round at 1-over, 73 and claimed first place honors for the Girl’s 13-18 division. Two shots behind Chavez, Elisa Hernandez finished runner- up with a total 3-over, 75.
Alex Jelinek of Port St. Lucie and Gatlin Albright of Stuart went head-to-head for the Boy’s 13-18 division title, both finishing at 2-over 74. After a scorecard playoff, Jelinek took home the win.
Doral Native, Stella Ronja Lind held onto first place position in the Player of the Year standings after her eighth win in the Girl’s 11-12 division. Lind carded a 6-over 78, one stroke ahead of Lucia Romero (79).
Closing out the event, in the 9-10 division, Mia Heuberger-Dominguez of Miami beach carded a total 5-over,77 and Linus Castro of Jupiter with a 2-over, 74 to lead them both to a victorious finish in their respective divisions.
As we close out the Prep Tour season and prepare for the final championship next month, we want to congratulate and thank all of our participants for a great 2023 season!
