South Florida PGA Prep Tour Players Face Week of Events
South Florida PGA Prep Tour Players faced back-to-back events this week at Stoneybrook Golf Club, Wednesday and Links at Boynton Beach, Friday.

Beginning Wednesday’s round with a hot start, Carter Brooks of Coral Springs notched a tournament low 1-under, 71. His round was highlighted by three birdies on the front nine, routing Brooks to first place honors in the Boy’s 13-18 division.
Finding her 7th finish in a top-3 position for the 2023 season, Lake Worth local, Bella Simoes finished at even-par to secure victory in the Girl’s 13-18 division. Aiding in her success, Simoes managed a bogey-free front nine to close the day with a one stroke lead over Laura Monsalve of Miami.
Jaxson Hollatz of Naples and Isabella Giraldo Garcia of Windermere achieved champion status in the 11-12 Boy’s and Girl’s divisions.
Links at Boynton Beach
Moving to Friday’s round at The Links at Boynton Beach, Jaxson Weese of Sebastian and Reese McMillan of Jupiter both shot even-par to take the lead in their respective 13-18 divisions.
Weese capped his round with a birdie on eighteen to secure his second victory of the 2023 Prep Tour season.
Finishing the day with two back-to-back birdies, Dylan Schilling of Port St. Lucie carded a 74 and took home the gold in the Boy’s 11-12 division.
Thanyanate Bhummabhuti of Bangkok, wrapped play for the Girl’s 11-12 division with three birdies to aid in an even-par finish.
In the Boy’s 9-10 LinuscCastro of Jupiter finished in first at 6-over, 77.
